Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Mumbai. The General Dentist will conduct dental check-ups and screenings during employee wellness camps, including oral examinations, basic diagnostic assessments, and preventive counseling. The role also includes performing on-site dental scaling using equipment provided by Jupiter Health. Additional responsibilities include documenting findings in digital health records, coordinating with camp organizers and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and safety standards. The dentist will also provide evidence-based guidance on oral hygiene, identify cases needing further treatment or referral, and contribute to a positive, respectful experience for all camp participants. All equipment, consumables, and on-site support are arranged by Jupiter Health.
Qualifications
Valid BDS degree from a recognized institution and current dental registration/license as per applicable regulatory requirements
Demonstrated experience in general dentistry, including routine examinations, preventive care, and basic diagnostic procedures
Hands-on proficiency in ultrasonic scaling and prophylaxis, with the ability to perform the procedure in an on-site camp setting
Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse employee groups and explain clinical findings in simple terms
Strong attention to detail in documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Comfort working in camp or outreach settings, with flexibility to manage varying schedules and on-site operational needs
Professional integrity, respect for patient confidentiality, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory care
Prior experience in corporate wellness programs, health camps, or community dentistry is an advantage
