Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a
Data Engineer to build and support data pipelines for client and internal projects.
The role involves working with
Python, SQL, APIs, and data processing, ensuring smooth data flow, transformation, and delivery.
This is a
hands-on, delivery-focused role, ideal for candidates with experience in service-based data projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL
- Extract data from APIs, files, and databases
- Perform data transformation and processing
- Load data into target systems (databases / data platforms)
- Work on data cleaning, validation, and optimization
- Support client data requirements and delivery timelines
- Debug issues and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with team members for smooth execution
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering / Python development
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
- Experience working with APIs and data extraction
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
- Basic knowledge of data modeling and transformations
- Good problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Databricks / PySpark / Spark (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Exposure to data pipelines, workflows, or scheduling tools
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured data (JSON, CSV, etc.)
Candidate Profile
- Hands-on developer with strong execution capability
- Experience in service-based or client delivery projects preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and coordination skills
