About the Job:
We are looking for Associate counsellors with prior experience counseling students for Australia, New Zealand, and European countries.
Responsibilities:
1. Guide students with their overseas education options after understanding their academic background, career goals, and preferred course/country.
2. Provide expert insights on career outcomes, global education pathways, and program suitability, always acting in the student's best interest.
3. Assist students in shortlisting universities/colleges and choosing the right programs across multiple countries.
4. Support students in building strong application profiles, including SOPs, LORs, resumes, and essays.
5. Demonstrate a clear understanding of counseling stages, eligibility requirements, and university shortlisting processes.
6. Collaborate with the internal Admissions & Visa teams, who will handle documentation, application submissions, and visa processing.
7. Maintain structured and timely follow-ups with students through CRM and communication tools.
8. Work within a well-defined, automated, and student-friendly counseling process.
Achieve reasonable and clearly defined milestones to qualify for evolving rewards and incentive schemes.
9. Keep updated with global education trends, program updates, and destination-specific information.
Other Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in international education/study-abroad counseling.
Strong spoken English and command over a native language; multilingual skills are an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM, and digital communication tools.
Ability to adapt to a structured, online, and tech-assisted counseling process.
Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and active listening skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
