Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an entry-level Consultant, you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Financial Services Banking products. You will receive comprehensive training and work alongside experienced professionals to deliver quality technical solutions, while building deep expertise in next-generation banking technology. Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in development, implementation, and/or support of core banking applications, with at least 1 year in key skill areas.
- Proficiency in at least some of: Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, JavaScript, XML.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL; hands-on exposure to Oracle Database (12c/18c) is a plus.
- Experience with application server software, especially Oracle WebLogic.
- Understanding of source control and release management tools.
- Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
- Willingness to work onsite and travel as needed, with flexibility for shifts and rotational project requirements.
Good-to-Have:
- Awareness of banking industry processes and terminology.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, testing tools, or software development methodologies.
- Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE or related core banking solutions.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion SOA Suite) or reporting tools (OBIEE, BI Publisher).
- Relevant Oracle Technical Certifications, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities
- Participate in technical project streams, including migration, integration, testing support, and coordination with onshore/offshore teams.
- Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of technical solutions for client business requirements.
- Develop, test, and document programs as per Oracle/client specifications, following defined processes and standards.
- Adhere to change control and compliance requirements for all project deliverables.
- Perform troubleshooting and deployment activities, especially on Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Track, resolve, and report issues, ensuring timely communication with supervisors and stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate and complete handovers/knowledge transfers at the end of assignments.
- Timely submit timesheets, status reports, and expenses as per Oracle/client policies.
