Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in containerization, orchestration, cloud platforms, and automation, along with hands-on experience in resolving security vulnerabilities and ensuring system reliability. Having experience in building, securing and managing Kubernetes clusters, including networking, scheduling, security, logging and monitoring, as well as troubleshooting Kubernetes.
Technologies required: Kubernetes, GitOps, Kafka, Helm, RKE2, Jenkins, Linux KVM Hypervisor, Ubuntu
Skills: Shell Scripting, Python Scripting, Jenkins Administration, Oracle based VM creation, PXE boot automation
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for building, securing, configuring Kubernetes clusters, including networking, scheduling, security, logging and monitoring, as well as troubleshoot Kubernetes.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2).
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability using monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Identify, analyze, and fix security vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructures.
- Design and support distributed messaging systems like Kafka.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release cycles and system stability.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must-Have Skills:
- 10-12 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Kubernetes (cluster management, deployments, scaling)
- Docker (containerization)
- AWS services (especially EC2)
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitOps.
- Kafka (setup, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience in scripting (Shell, Python, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of GitOps and modern deployment strategies.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
- Certifications in AWS/Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Awareness of Elasticsearch, FluentD, Kibana Stack.
- Awareness of Virtualization, Linux KVM Hypervisor, Ubuntu, Oracle based VM creation, PXE boot automation.
- Experience of working with Agile methodology.
- Experience in managing distributed systems & multi cluster/cloud deployments.
