What The Role Offers
- Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project. Tasks may include performing systems configurations, troubleshooting systems errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance, and contribute to the design of technical solutions for customer environments.
- Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives or independently as a consultant to customer.
- Liaises with Solutions Architect as appropriate (case to case basis). Should be confident and capable of handling solution implementation / customization / configuration of the tool / solution.
- Demonstrates execution of the OT strategy.
- Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared.
- Acts professionally with the company customers.
- Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
- Participates in chosen technical community or profession, and regularly attends profession or community of interest events.
Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other Specializations
- 1 - 3 years of technical experience on with Service Management tools, preferably OpenText SMAX or OpenText Legacy Service Manager (SM).
- Nice to have. One of the two certifications: Service Manager (SM), SMAX
What You Need To Succeed
- Must have the ability to understand ITIL Process
- Must have hands on experience in supporting and performing small enhancements in SMAX or SM.
- Must have the ability to execute UAT, QA Test, PIV Test and Regression Test plan/cases.
- SMAX or SM application administration and L1 level support for internal or external users
- Working knowledge on Importing Data, configuring -- rules, notifications, Approval definitions, custom actions.
- Working knowledge on creating custom tables, fields, forms.
- Must have hands on experience in SMAX/Integration Support or SM and some project experience
- Must have the ability to execute health checks and SOP and understand automated health checks and monitoring
- Working Knowledge on Installation or Upgrade of SMAX or SM or any other similar Service Management tools
- Basic Cloud skills – Knowledge on AWS, Azure or GCP is added advantage
- Basic Programming skills – familiar with languages like Perl, Shell, JavaScript, Web Services and XML
- Good to have knowledge on Power BI or any BI Tool
- Able to produce basic documentation to required standards
