Role Description
We are seeking a Master of Social Work (MSW) professional for a full-time, on-site position located in Trivandrum. In this role, you will work closely with senior citizens, designing and implementing individual care plans to promote their well-being and quality of life. Responsibilities include providing emotional and psychological support, coordinating recreational and therapeutic activities, and coordinating in house events . The candidate will also serve as a liaison between residents, their families, and the company.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to effectively engage with senior citizens and their families.
- Proficiency in assessing seniors, creating recreational plans, initiating activities that provide emotional support & mental well being.
- Experience in counseling and providing emotional support, especially with senior citizens and their unique challenges.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, community resources, and social services relevant to senior care.
- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for senior citizens.
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
- Prior experience in geriatric care, senior living, or a related healthcare setting is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in local languages and cultural sensitivity is highly desirable.
