Associate - Commercial Real Estate

Role Summary

Entry-level professional responsible for executing audit procedures under GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards), and PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures in accordance with GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Prepare audit workpapers that support financial statements prepared under GAAP.
• Perform self‑review to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate proactively with seniors regarding workflow, challenges, and status updates.
• Ensure compliance with professional and firm ethical standards during all engagement phases.
  
  

Core Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing requirements.
• Attention to detail and adherence to firm documentation standards.
• Ability to execute audit programs and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  
  

Education & Credentials

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Qualified CPA or Candidates pursuing CPA
  
  

Delegation / Decision Authority

• Required to complete assigned tasks under supervision and must notify their supervisor if anything unusual or unexpected occurs.
• Not expected to make independent decisions that impact clients or budgets.
