Job Title: Associate - Category Management
Experience: 3.0-5.0 years
Overview
As an Associate in Category Management, you will play a critical role in optimizing the product category performance and driving business growth. Your primary focus will be on analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing strategies to enhance the category's competitiveness in the market.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify category trends and consumer preferences.
- Develop category strategies and assortment plans to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute category initiatives and promotions effectively.
- Monitor category performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and optimize strategies accordingly.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions for the category.
- Work closely with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Implement pricing and promotional strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability within the category.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on category performance, initiatives, and future plans.
