As an Associate - Category Demand Management at our organization, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing category demand to drive business growth and success. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to understand and evaluate demand trends, optimizing category performance, and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Analyze category demand data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop demand forecasts and inventory strategies.
- Monitor and track category performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely replenishment.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize category profitability.
- Support marketing and sales teams with insights and recommendations to drive product demand.
- Utilize demand planning tools and software to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams to align category strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
As an ideal candidate for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with 0-3 years of experience in category management, demand planning, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.
