The Opportunity
Associate Buyer will be responsible for supporting the procurement and purchasing activities within the supply chain management (SCM) function. This role involves working closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, and services. The Associate SCM Buyer assists in maintaining supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, and optimizing procurement processes while adhering to quality and cost standards.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Working closely with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms and delivery schedules.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely reordering of products.
- Conducting market research to identify trends and potential new suppliers.
- Preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions.
- Assisting in budget management and cost-saving initiatives.
- Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Should have bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, etc.)
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
