Job Description
The
System Integration Technical Lead provides senior technical leadership for large-scale township projects, specializing in Master Systems Integration (MSI) across multiple mixed use buildings and infrastructure elements. With over 15 years of experience, this role ensures seamless integration of diverse building and infrastructure systems—delivered by different consultants and contractors—into a single, unified operational platform. The manager is adept at platform-agnostic integration, data center and command/control center coordination, and driving technical excellence from design through commissioning.
Leads and coordinates all MSI activities across the township, overseeing the full lifecycle from requirements capture and design through to implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover. Ensures that all building systems—BMS, IT networks, SCADA, CCTV, Security, Fire Alarm, Irrigation, Audio Visual, Smart Systems, Sensors, and more—are engineered, integrated, and delivered in alignment with project objectives, stakeholder requirements, and regulatory standards.
With deep expertise in MSI for large, multi-building environments, orchestrates technical collaboration among multiple consultants and contractors, resolves complex interface challenges, and delivers a robust, interoperable township platform. Provides leadership in integrating both the central command/control center and the township’s data center, ensuring secure, scalable, and future-ready operations.
Responsibilities
- Master Systems Integration (MSI) Leadership
- Lead the integration of diverse building and infrastructure systems (BMS, IT, SCADA, CCTV, Security, Fire Alarm, Irrigation, AV, Smart Systems, Sensors, etc.) across multiple buildings and public spaces.
- Develop Operational Strategies, ConOps, System Verification/Validation methodologies,
- Develop and implement MSI strategies, integration plans, and schedules to ensure coordinated delivery and interoperability of all systems.
- Multi-Stakeholder Technical Coordination
- Coordinate technical requirements and interfaces between various consultants, contractors, and vendors responsible for different buildings and systems.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary design and integration reviews, ensuring all systems are compatible, maintainable, and ready for township-wide integration.
- Engineering, Implementation & Commissioning Oversight
- Oversee engineering deliverables and implementation activities, ensuring alignment with MSI requirements for Smart City Applications and township specifications.
- Support/Assist on-site integration, installation, configuration, and commissioning of all subsystems, ensuring seamless operation across the township.
- Unified Platform & Data Center Integration
- Lead the design and deployment of a single, unified platform for monitoring, control, and management of all township systems the Smart City systems
- Well versed with MSI Architecture, North Bound / South Bound Integrations/Interfaces, Data Management, etc
- Oversee integration with both the central command/control center and the multiple Control rooms across the Smart City ensuring robust data flows, high availability, and secure operations.
- Platform Evaluation & Selection
- Define technical and operational requirements for the site township -wide integration platform.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of MSI/SI platforms, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs.
- Cybersecurity & Data Governance
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and data governance frameworks for all integrated systems.
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Scalability & Future-Proofing
- Design integration architectures that support future expansion, technology upgrades, and evolving operational requirements.
- Vendor & Technology Management
- Evaluate and manage multiple vendors and technology solutions, ensuring interoperability and adherence to project standards.
- Testing, Validation & Handover
- Lead system integration testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and System Integration Tests (SIT) across all buildings and systems.
- Ensure all systems are validated, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with operational and contractual requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as the central point of contact for MSI activities, engaging with project owners, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Present integration progress, technical challenges, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive MSI documentation, including interface registers, integration plans, test records, and commissioning reports.
- Provide structured reports summarizing integration status, issues, and readiness for key project milestones.
