Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate position based in New Delhi. The Associate will be responsible for legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing case briefs, and attending court hearings. They will work closely with senior counsel to provide support on diverse and complex legal matters, including arbitration, corporate commercial disputes, and criminal litigation. The Associate will also interact with clients, formulate legal strategies, and ensure high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with experience in case law analysis and statutory interpretation
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal correspondence
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to attend court hearings and client meetings
- Knowledge of arbitration, corporate law, and criminal litigation, with experience in handling disputes
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution is required; LLM is an advantage
- Prior experience working in litigation and dispute resolution is preferred
