Job Summary
Pierag is seeking a dedicated and customer-centric
L1 IT Support Engineer to provide first-level IT support across end-user systems, Microsoft 365 services, Windows infrastructure, and conferencing environments. The role is critical in ensuring seamless IT operations and an excellent end-user experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- End User Support:
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and accessories
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (Windows OS & standard applications)
- Support users through calls, emails, and IT ticketing systems
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices
- Microsoft 365 (M365) Support:
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access controls
- Troubleshoot issues related to Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Assist with mailbox setup, email configuration, and access issues
- Perform basic administrative tasks in Microsoft 365
- Windows Server & Active Directory (L1):
- Perform basic Active Directory operations (user creation, password reset, group management)
- Monitor server status and escalate issues when required
- Assist in managing shared folders and access permissions
- Boardroom & Conference Room Support:
- Ensure smooth functioning of meeting rooms and AV setups
- Support video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Troubleshoot issues related to cameras, microphones, displays, and conferencing devices
- Provide real-time support during important meetings
- IT Asset Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals)
- Track asset allocation, stock, and lifecycle management
- Coordinate procurement, repairs, and disposal of IT equipment
- Ensure proper documentation and tagging of all assets
- Incident & Service Request Management:
- Log, track, and resolve IT tickets within defined SLAs
- Provide timely updates to users on issue status
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams
- Maintain documentation of recurring issues and solutions
- General IT Operations:
- Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity)
- Support software installations, updates, and patching
- Ensure endpoint security compliance (antivirus, updates)
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding (IT setup & access)
