Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate position located in Kochi. The Associate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, representing clients in court proceedings, and providing strategic legal advice. The role also involves liaising with clients, interpreting laws, and preparing litigation reports. The Associate will collaborate with partners, support case preparation, and contribute to innovative legal problem-solving tailored to clients' needs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in legal drafting, analysis, and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research and applying legal principles to provide sound advice and solutions.
- Experience in litigation, advocacy, and case representation at courts or tribunals.
- Knowledge of corporate law, taxation, arbitration, labor law, intellectual property rights, and related legal domains.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Bar certification and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB or LLM).
- Experience with corporate clients or public sector organizations is an advantage.
