Role Description The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Associate will support audit, assurance, taxation, and consulting engagements by performing detailed financial analyses, preparing working papers, and assisting in the documentation of findings in line with firm methodologies and international standards. Day-to-day responsibilities may include participating in client meetings, gathering and validating financial and operational data, supporting risk assessments, and contributing to reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating with senior team members across service lines, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements. Associates are expected to collaborate closely with colleagues, demonstrate strong professional ethics, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and client service.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting, preferably aligned with standards such as IFRS and ISA.
- Knowledge of taxation and regulatory frameworks in India (including direct tax and GST), with the ability to research and apply relevant rules.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and report drafting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams, manage time well, and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and responsibility in prior academic or professional experiences; experience with international donor-funded projects or grant assurance is a plus.
