Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate role located in Kolkata at Ganeriwala & Ganeriwal. The Associate will be responsible for supporting advisory services, preparation and filing of tax returns, conducting audits, performing regulatory and compliance checks, assisting in corporate restructuring activities, and facilitating financial analysis. The Associate will work closely with clients to execute tailored solutions, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and contribute to achieving organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Direct Taxation, GST, and Transfer Pricing regulations
- Proficiency in financial analysis, corporate restructuring, and transaction advisory techniques
- Expertise in conducting audits and assurance with attention to detail
- Ability to handle client interactions, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with financial tools, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Chartered Accountant qualification will be advantageous
- Prior experience in financial services or consulting is a strong plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines under pressure
