Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate, based in New Delhi, with the flexibility for occasional remote work. The Associate will be responsible for assisting with legal research, drafting pleadings and contracts, providing advisory on corporate and commercial matters, and engaging in dispute resolution processes. Additional responsibilities include preparing legal opinions, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Research and drafting contracts and pleadings
- Strong knowledge in Corporate and Commercial Law, and experience advising on M&As, regulatory compliance, and entity formation
- Expertise in Taxation Law, including direct and indirect tax regimes
- Experience in Dispute Resolution and handling matters within domestic arbitration and international forums
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for document management and client communication
- LLB degree from a recognized institution (LLM is an advantage)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional law firm or legal environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
