Associate – Legal Advisory & Commercial Contracts

We operate as an extended in-house legal team for our clients, combining legal precision with commercial practicality, responsiveness, and strategic thinking. Our work spans technology, AI, SaaS, media, employment, corporate-commercial advisory, data/privacy, regulatory, and cross-border transactions.
We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded Associate who thrives in a fast-paced advisory environment and is excited to work closely with founders, operators, and global businesses.
Role Overview
The Associate will work directly with the leadership team on a broad range of commercial, corporate, technology, and advisory matters. The role requires strong drafting capability, ownership mindset, responsiveness, and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes.
This is not a traditional law firm role focused only on execution — we are looking for someone who can think strategically, communicate confidently with clients, and become a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate:
- MSAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, SLAs, vendor/customer agreements
- Employment and consultancy agreements
- Technology, AI, data protection, and licensing documentation
- Commercial contracts and operational legal documentation
- Support clients on:
- Corporate-commercial advisory
- Regulatory and compliance matters
- Employment and HR issues
- Data privacy and risk management
- Conduct legal research and prepare concise advisory notes
- Participate in client calls and negotiations
- Coordinate with founders, finance teams, HR, product, and operations teams
- Assist with transaction support, due diligence, and structuring matters
- Maintain high responsiveness and turnaround standards
- Contribute to internal legal templates, knowledge systems, and process improvements
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years PQE (law firm experience preferred)
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience with commercial contracts and technology/startup clients
- Familiarity with technology related legal and business environment preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Commercially pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- High attention to detail and ownership mentality
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
