Role Description The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position located in New Delhi. The Associate will support senior advocates in legal research, drafting pleadings, written submissions, opinions, and other legal documents, as well as preparing case files and briefs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law, assisting in client meetings, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves attending hearings or proceedings as required, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to strategy discussions for cases and transactions. The Associate is expected to uphold professional ethics, manage deadlines efficiently, and actively participate in the firm’s knowledge-building and practice development initiatives.

Qualifications
- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including written submissions, pleadings, notices, and legal opinions.
- Effective client communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Sound organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple matters and meeting tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of core legal domains relevant to corporate, commercial, and litigation practice (experience in specific practice areas is an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council and eligibility to practice law in India.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and adherence to ethical standards, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Hindi and other regional languages is a plus.
- Prior internship or work experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred but not mandatory.
