Responsible for end-to-end solution ownership including requirements, architecture design, development, code reviews, testing, deployment, production support, stakeholder management, team leadership, platform governance, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise data solutions on Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Understand and analyze business requirements with stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement gathering, impact analysis, and feasibility assessment.
- Design end-to-end data platforms and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Prepare technical design documents, solution blueprints, and architecture diagrams.
- Data Modeling suggestions and implementation strategies.
- Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture design.
- Orchestration design
- Data quality framework and standards.
- Scalability planning.
- High availability and resiliency design.
- Security design and implementation.
Development & Delivery
- Code Development ? core architecture, configurations
- Guide and actively participate in development activities.
- Review technical designs and implementation approaches.
- Support deployment planning and production releases.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural principles.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentoring to team members.
- Bug fixing
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Define test strategy and review test scenarios.
- Perform unit testing and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
Platform & Infrastructure Management
- Manage and support Microsoft Fabric platform operations.
- Handle environment setup, access management, and infrastructure-related activities.
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and operational stability.
- Troubleshoot Fabric-related issues and coordinate resolution activities.
- Connect with different teams for troubleshooting Fabric/network issues.
Production Support & Incident Management
- Provide support for production issues and bug fixing
- Analyze root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Manage incident resolution and service restoration activities.
- Support development teams in resolving technical challenges.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, project teams, and cross-functional groups.
- Engage with Microsoft support for product-related issues and escalations.
- Collaborate with GTS and infrastructure teams for platform and environment requirements.
- Create, track, and manage support tickets and service requests.
- Maintain product backlog
Team Leadership & Governance
- Lead and mentor development team members.
- Allocate work and track project progress.
- Drive technical governance and architecture reviews.
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and organizational standards.
- Support project planning, estimation, and risk management.
- Create tickets in Redmine and DeVos
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain architecture documents, operational runbooks, and technical specifications.
- Prepare solution documentation and deployment guides.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops.
Management Responsibilities
- Effort estimation and resource planning.
- Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Cost optimization for Fabric/Azure resources.
- Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Technical roadmap definition.
- Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technology evaluation.
- Release management and change management.
- Client/stakeholder presentation preparations and architecture sign-offs.
- Hiring, interviewing, and onboarding technical resources.
