Associate Analyst, Cash Management Operations
Job Overview
The Lead/Associate Consultant supports financial advisors, clients, and internal partners by delivering high-quality service related to cash management, estate, death, divorce, and other complex account-related transactions. This role assumes full ownership of cases from initial inquiry through resolution and serves as a subject matter resource for operational processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex case management requests related to cash management, estate, and account servicing inquiries
- Take full ownership of cases, ensuring timely resolution and clear, accurate communication with advisors and clients
- Review, process, and monitor transactions including wires, ACH, checks, journals, deposits, distributions, and estate-related claims
- Ensure all transactions and documentation meet regulatory, policy, and procedural standards
- Identify and resolve Not-In-Good-Order (NIGO) items and proactively prevent future errors
- Review legal and financial documentation such as Letters of Testamentary, Trust Agreements, LOAs, QDROs, divorce decrees, and beneficiary claims
- Assess risk, escalate issues as needed, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Finance partners
- Identify trends, errors, and process gaps; provide recommendations to improve efficiency and quality
- Participate in audits, training initiatives, and system or process enhancements
- Support onboarding, training, and coaching of peers or new hires, as applicable
Required Qualifications
- 6—8 years of experience in brokerage, financial services, or operations (client-facing and/or processing roles)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams; experience with case management or financial systems preferred
