About the Role
UDIT — University of Design, Innovation and Technology — is India's first university built at the intersection of design, management, and technology. We're in the middle of one of the most ambitious institution-building projects in Indian higher education. We're looking for someone to sit right at the centre of it.
This is not a support role. It is an execution role.
You will work directly with the Founder — translating priorities into action, coordinating across academic, admissions, hiring, and operations teams, and making sure that decisions made at the top actually land on the ground.
What You Will Do
→ Turn priorities into clear plans, owners, timelines, and follow-throughs.
→ Coordinate across departments and senior stakeholders without being chased.
→ Prepare briefs, decks, and documents that are ready for any room.
→ Build trackers, dashboards, and review rhythms that make the institution run smarter.
→ Surface blocked work, delayed decisions, and risks that need attention.
→ Manage special projects end-to-end, scoping to closure.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong operating discipline, intellectual sharpness, and high ownership.
→ 3–6 years of relevant experience, with some flexibility for exceptional candidates.
→ Bachelor's degree essential; Master's preferred.
→ Experience in a founder's office, consulting, operations, project management, education, startup, or high-growth services environment.
→ Excellent written and verbal communication.
→ Strong ability to create clear briefs, crisp emails, structured notes, and senior-ready documents.
→ High comfort with Excel / Google Sheets — trackers, dashboards, not just formatting.
→ Practical fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) — for research, structuring, synthesis, and productivity.
→ Strong follow-through orientation — you are the kind of person who closes loops.
→ Discretion and maturity to work with senior stakeholders.
→ Comfort with ambiguity, pace, changing priorities, and direct feedback.
→ Genuine interest in institution-building, not just exposure to a founder.
