The Role
We are seeking a high-energy, mission-driven individual to join our fundraising team in Mumbai. This role is perfect for someone who is early in their career, possesses a "sales" mindset, and wants to apply their skills toward a cause that changes lives. You will be responsible for supporting donor outreach, managing documentation, and helping fuel the growth of our charitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Communication: Drafting professional emails, proposals, and reports for donor institutions and foundations.
- Presentation & Pitching: Creating compelling PowerPoint presentations to showcase CMC’s impact and funding needs.
- Data Management: Maintaining meticulous records of donations and donor interactions using Microsoft Excel.
- Outreach: Assisting in identifying and reaching out to potential donors or philanthropic partners (utilizing sales-oriented techniques).
- Administrative Support: Ensuring smooth daily coordination between the Mumbai & Vellore offices.
What We Are Looking For
- Attitude: Most importantly, a tenacious desire to work hard and learn. You aren't afraid of a steep learning curve or high expectations.
- Communication: Exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English is non-negotiable. You should be able to tell a story that moves people.
- Tech Savvy: High level of comfort with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and professional email etiquette.
- The "Hustle" Factor: A background in sales or business development is a strong plus. We need someone comfortable with "the ask."
- Proximity: Ability to commute daily to the office in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
