Job Title: Associate – Financial Accounting
Location: Mumbai (Goregaon / Thane)
Experience: 1–3 Years
Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com / M.Com

Key Responsibilities:
Direct Responsibilities:
- Review preparation and booking of daily/monthly journal entries (accruals, provisions, etc.)
- Ensure data quality in ledgers through regular checks and corrections
- Monitor reconciliation between source systems and the general ledger; identify and resolve discrepancies
- Review transactional account activity and identify posting errors or back-value entries
- Perform account analysis, variance analysis, and highlight trends/issues
- Prepare month-end substantiation and sign-off balances with proper documentation
- Support internal, external audit, and regulatory requirements
- Track and follow up on outstanding issues; escalate where required
- Maintain and monitor control books to ensure ledger data accuracy (OFS ledger)
- Handle accounting and tax classification for expenses (payroll, overheads, depreciation, etc.)
- Support management accounting (profitability, cost allocation) as per MARP guidelines
- Manage intercompany reconciliations with proper documentation and follow-ups
- Support transfer pricing and intercompany reporting requirements
- Perform financial reporting and analysis across Global Markets and Banking activities
- Assist in preparation of financial statements (IFRS & Belgian GAAP)
Contributing Responsibilities:
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and reporting tool changes
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-deployment issue resolution
- Identify process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency
- Ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures
- Support ad-hoc requests and finance-related projects
- Contribute to finance transformation and system implementation initiatives
Eligibility Criteria:
- CA / MBA Finance / B.Com / M.Com
- 1–3 years of experience in financial accounting
- Prior experience in banking or financial services preferred
Note: Candidates must have experience in Financial Accounting, Inter company Reconciliation, Financial Statement preparation, and Month-End Closing.
