Role Objective
The Associate – Business Development is a pure hunting role. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential corporate clients, initiating the first contact, and driving the sales process through to closure. We are looking for experienced sales professionals who don't just wait for leads but actively create them.
Key Responsibilities (The "Hunter" Mandate)
- New Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and pitch to corporate brands (Real Estate, FMCG, Healthcare, BFSI, etc.) that are not currently in our portfolio.
- Lead Intelligence: Research marketing calendars of top brands to pitch timely media solutions (e.g., festive campaigns, product launches).
- Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver persuasive, data-driven pitches to Marketing Managers and Brand Heads.
- Negotiation & Closing: Handle the end-to-end sales cycle—from cold outreach and site visits to commercial negotiations and contract signing.
- Market Mapping: Maintain a deep understanding of competitor activity and identify "switch-sell" opportunities where clients can move their budgets to Krish Intratrade.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, or Media/Advertising Sales.
- Mandatory Skill: Proven ability to source your own leads without relying on a marketing team or inbound inquiries.
- Communication: Sharp, professional communication skills in English and Hindi; ability to command a room during a pitch.
- Resilience: A high "rejection-tolerance" and the persistence required to follow up with busy corporate decision-makers.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
1. New Revenue: Total billing generated from "First-Time" clients.
2. Conversion Rate: The percentage of "Meetings Booked" that turn into "Signed Contracts."
3. Pipeline Velocity: How quickly a lead moves from initial contact to a closed deal.
Compensation & Growth
- Salary: Competitive fixed pay of 8-10 LPA (based on experience & track record) + Performance Incentives.
- Career Path: High-performing Associates will be on a fast track to Manager – Corporate Sales positions, overseeing their own sub-territories or specific industry verticals.
