Role: Associate Manager – Lab Centralized Monitoring
Location: Kochi (Work from office, 5 days a week)
Overview
Seeking a strong clinical professional with leadership experience to manage centralized monitoring activities for moderate to complex protocols. The role requires prior line management experience and the ability to lead a mid-sized team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Centralized Monitoring Project Coordinators (CPCs).
- Oversee workload planning, task assignment, mentoring, performance reviews, and staff development.
- Handle employee relations, training, onboarding, and HR-related actions.
- Build strong collaboration with global project and operational teams to ensure quality and delivery.
- Ensure staff have required training, tools, and access; monitor quality through mini-audits.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
- Track departmental and individual metrics; support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assign resources based on skill and experience, ensuring optimal study support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Line Manager.
- 5+ years Clinical background (mandatory).
- Experience managing a team of 30–40 members.
- People management experience in Hospital/Lab settings preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, therapeutic areas, and protocol basics.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to build effective working relationships.
