Role Description This full-time, on-site position is based in the Mohali district and is open at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Computer Applications (CA). Faculty members will design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions; develop syllabi and course materials aligned with university and accreditation standards; and supervise student projects, internships, and dissertations at various academic levels. The role includes mentoring students, conducting high-quality research, publishing in reputed journals and conferences, and contributing to funded research and consultancy projects. Faculty are expected to participate in curriculum development, academic committees, accreditation activities, and outreach initiatives, as well as support industry collaborations, innovation, and the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Ongoing responsibilities also include evaluating student performance, maintaining academic records, and engaging in professional development to keep pace with emerging technologies in CSE and CA.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Applications, with qualifications as per UGC/AICTE norms (typically M.Tech/M.E./MCA/Ph.D. in relevant disciplines).
- Expertise in core CSE/CA domains such as data structures and algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, software engineering, and programming languages.
- Knowledge and teaching ability in advanced and emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and related technologies.
- Demonstrated research capabilities, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, patents, or participation in funded research projects.
