</div><div>Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable <strong>Caregiver</strong> to provide support and companionship for a client in a home setting. The focus of this role is to ensure the client is engaged, safe, and comfortable while their parents are away.<br><br>
</div><div>Responsibilities:</div><ul>
<li> Provide companionship and supervision during scheduled hours </li>
<li> Engage the client in enjoyable activities such as games (including Wii), interactive play, and entertainment </li>
<li> Assist with meal preparation and ensure safe eating practices with supervision </li>
<li> Provide support with personal care needs, including incontinence care (bowel and bladder) as needed </li>
<li> Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times </li>
<li> Offer respectful assistance based on the client’s care plan and needs </li>
</ul><div><br></div><div>Client Information:</div><ul>
<li> Client uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with mobility support </li>
<li> Client is non-verbal and communicates through alternative methods </li>
<li> May require additional support with care routines and redirection during care tasks </li>
<li> Enjoys playing Wii, games, and interactive activities </li>
<li> Requires supervision during meals for safety </li>
</ul><div>
<br>Qualifications:</div><ul>
<li> Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required </li>
<li> Comfortable providing personal care and incontinence support </li>
<li> Ability to remain patient, calm, and attentive in a home care setting </li>
<li> Reliable, punctual, and compassionate approach to care </li>
<li> Willingness to engage client in activities and companionship-based care </li>
