Role Description The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory, timely dispatches, and safe material handling. This full-time, on-site role is based in Navi Mumbai and involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The role includes monitoring stock levels, overseeing storage practices, and assisting in implementing operational policies and process improvements. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet service commitments, optimize space utilization, and resolve operational issues promptly. The position also requires regular reporting on warehouse performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Stock Control and Inventory Control to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
- Experience in Inventory Management to plan, track, and optimize stock levels and warehouse space.
- Knowledge of Operations Management to oversee daily workflows, staffing, and process efficiency.
- Ability to safely perform or supervise Forklift Operation and other material handling activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic MS Office tools.
- Commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
