As a Video Editor Intern at Vidover Media, you'll be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-retention YouTube videos. You'll work closely with our content team to create documentary-style videos that captivate audiences through strong storytelling, pacing, and visual editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes) and short-form content (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels).
- Add B-roll, stock footage, graphics, animations, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music.
- Maintain fast-paced editing that improves audience retention.
- Follow brand guidelines and editing briefs.
- Organize project files and deliver videos on schedule.
- Revise videos based on feedback and continuously improve quality.
- Collaborate with scriptwriters, thumbnail designers, and content strategists.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Understanding of YouTube content and storytelling.
- Knowledge of pacing, cuts, sound design, and visual composition.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience editing documentary, educational, or faceless YouTube content
