Role Description The Assistant Video Editor will support the video production team in assembling, editing, and refining video content for various digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, applying basic transitions, assisting with color correction, and supporting motion graphics implementation under the guidance of senior editors. The role involves collaborating with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure videos meet brand guidelines and project timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in video production and video editing for short-form and long-form content.
- Candidates should possess skills in video color grading to maintain consistent visual style and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics and graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
- Basic familiarity with industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative direction and feedback.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- A relevant diploma, certification, or coursework in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial, along with a portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work.
