Role OverviewThis is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling a 200+ member inside sales (telesales) team focused on onboarding retailers onto the Agrim platform.
Your mandate is clear and ambitious:
Onboard 200,000 agri-input retailers in 24 months while maintaining strong CAC discipline.

You will lead the execution backbone that ensures predictable, scalable, and efficient growth through inside sales.
Key Responsibilities1. Build & Scale the Team- Hire, train, and manage a 200+ member telesales team across multiple locations
- Design strong org structure (TLs, pods, performance layers)
2. Own Retailer Acquisition- Drive monthly onboarding run rates aligned to the 200K retailer target
- Ensure efficient CAC management while scaling aggressively
3. Sales Playbook & Training- Build and standardize:
- Sales scripts
- Call workflows
- Objection handling frameworks
- Training modules tailored for agri-retailers
4. Performance Governance- Establish strong MIS, dashboards, and reporting systems
- Run:
- Funnel reviews
- Conversion tracking
- Call quality audits
- Monitor performance at rep, pod, and program level
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Product & Marketing teams
- Refine:
- Value propositions
- Campaign effectiveness
- Onboarding journeys
- Use frontline insights to improve funnel efficiency
Success Metrics- Monthly retailer onboarding run rate
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
- Quality and activation of onboarded retailers
Ideal Candidate Profile- 10–12 years of inside sales / telesales experience
- Experience in FMCG, fintech, telecom, microfinance, or B2B marketplaces
- Minimum 2+ years managing 150+ team size (Sr. Manager / AVP level)
- Strong exposure to:
- Sales ops
- MIS & dashboards
- Funnel metrics
- Solid understanding of unit economics and CAC optimization
