Role Description
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for a full-time, on-site role located in the Mumbai ( BKC ) Metropolitan Region. The AVP of HR will lead and manage HR operations, oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, optimizing HR Information Systems (HRIS), streamlining employee benefits programs, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. The role demands strategic leadership and the ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Human Resources, including strategic HR management and workforce planning.
- Proficient in HR Policies formulation and implementation, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulatory standards.
- Experience in Employee Relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits design, administration, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and leveraging technology for HR operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s / PG degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications is a plus.
- Proven track record of designing and executing HR strategies that align with organizational growth and vision.
