Assistant Vice President Finance & Accounts!
In this role, you will be responsible for FAR role and will be requirement based & hence flexible, equipped to Focus on continuous process improvement and adaptive to change, Develop & lead effective working relationships in the organization and actively collaborate closely with all Key Stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead large R2R operations across General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Statutory Reporting, Flux Analysis, and Account Reconciliations, with end-to-end ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Provide overall operational governance for R2R processes, ensuring compliance, controls, SLA adherence, and consistent delivery across geographies.
- Act as the R2R Global Process Owner (GPO) with accountability for process design, standardization, controls, performance governance, and continuous optimization across geographies and clients.
- Own and lead the R2R transformation agenda, defining and executing the roadmap for process re-engineering, digitization, automation, and analytics to deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and cycle time.
- Drive delivery excellence for outsourced F&A - R2R services, ensuring customer satisfaction, SLA adherence, value realization, and identification ofrevenue growth and up-sell opportunities.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and CI² principles to identify performance gaps and breakthrough opportunities, implement sustainable improvement plans, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Operations, Digital, Transformation, Transitions, IT, and GPO COEs, and collaborate globally with Genpact and client stakeholders to drive adoption of standard processes and change initiatives.
- Build and develop high-performing teams by enabling career progression, strengthening leadership capabilities, managing change proactively, and achieving or exceeding retention and engagement targets.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Own end-to-end client service delivery and P&L
- Be a key driving force in leading new/existing relationships with a set of valuable clients leading to a balanced P&L
- Develop a strategy for winning and transitioning new deals while running and growing the existing relationships
- Own the way in implementing new technologies in operations and display a strong executive presence
- Engage in building collaborative teams that align and work to achieve Genpact and Client goals.
- Excellent knowledge on ERP Applications, Workflow Tools etc.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant and Graduate from top Commerce colleges.
- Prior experience in the services industry in leading large teams in R2R domains.
- Intellectual agility and analytical outlook
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Prior Record to Report Operations experience in the Industry with driving transformation / projects experience / Robotic implementation experience will be preferred.
