Job Summary:
The Assistant to the Managing Director provides high-level administrative, organizational, and strategic support to ensure the efficient functioning of the MD’s office. This role requires discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the MD’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Act as the first point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the MD.
- Coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and requests.
- Support decision-making by conducting research and compiling data.
- Track key projects and ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaise with senior management and departments on behalf of the MD.
- Organize meetings and executive-level engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with MBA is prefereable.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools.
- Flexible to travel with MD.
