Role Description The Assistant to Commercial Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This position supports the Commercial Director in day-to-day operations, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing travel, and preparing reports and presentations. The role involves handling phone calls and emails, maintaining professional communication with clients and internal teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and filing of commercial records. The assistant will help coordinate commercial activities, follow up on outstanding tasks, compile data for decision-making, and provide general administrative and clerical support to facilitate smooth business operations. The role requires discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage scheduling, documentation, and office coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities, including support for senior leadership, preparation of reports, and handling confidential information.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette for managing calls, inquiries, and follow-ups in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and basic data management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, demonstrating reliability and a proactive approach.
- Relevant diploma or degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field; experience in shipping or logistics is an advantage.
