This is not a typical job description.
I am Shobita George, Chief of Staff at Hurun India.
I started out as a lawyer. Nine years ago, I took a leap and joined Hurun India. I did not fully know what I was signing up for. I just knew the work felt different.
Nine years later, I am still here.
The best part of this job is not the title. It is the people. Every week, I get to sit across from, or on a call with, some of the sharpest minds in the country. Founders, investors, researchers, philanthropists, artists. Inside our company and outside of it. People who think for a living, and think well.
That is a privilege I do not take for granted.
The work has grown. I now need someone to support me. An Assistant who can write beautifully, use AI and modern tools with real fluency, stay calm under pressure, and care about the details the way I do. The role is based in Kerala, where I am.
