Role Description
This full-time on-site Assistant Tax Manager role is based in Mumbai. The Assistant Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, ensuring tax compliance, preparing tax filings, interpreting tax laws, and optimizing tax-related strategies. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, staying updated on changing tax regulations, and assisting with audits as necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance processes
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation and understanding of Tax Law
- Solid grasp of general Taxation management principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to interpret and apply tax regulations effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus)
- Professional certification such as CA, CFA, or CPA preferred
- Experience in the infrastructure or EPC sector is advantageous
