Role Description
The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in India, supporting the daily operations of the coffee retail space. This role includes supervising store staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures. The Assistant Store Manager will oversee customer interactions, handle escalations, and maintain a welcoming environment that reflects the brand’s specialty coffee focus. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, assisting with merchandising, monitoring store performance, and supporting loss prevention practices. The role works closely with the Store Manager to implement store policies, achieve sales targets, and uphold quality and service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure an excellent in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
- Candidates should possess Store Management skills, including basic operations, staff coordination, and inventory oversight.
- Candidates should possess Retail Loss Prevention awareness to help protect stock and uphold store policies.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or café operations, preferably in specialty coffee or food and beverage.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, including weekends and peak hours, with a hands-on and flexible approach.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Basic knowledge of coffee or willingness to learn about specialty coffee, brewing methods, and product offerings.
