Job Description

Swiggy Instamart is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals for the role of Assistant Store Incharge at our Vadapalani location in Chennai. As an Assistant Store Incharge at Swiggy Instamart, you will be crucial in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. This position involves managing daily store operations, assisting walk-in customers, and achieving sales targets. If you are enthusiastic about retail and ready to contribute to a leading company, this is the role for you!

In this full-time role, you will handle customer interactions, provide product information, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. You will also be responsible for up-selling and cross-selling products, maintaining store organization, and supporting the achievement of sales targets. Working hours are from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM with a six-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in customers, understand their needs, and provide relevant product recommendations at Swiggy Instamart.
• Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash or payment methods as required by Swiggy Instamart.
• Drive sales through up-selling and cross-selling products and services.
• Maintain and achieve store sales targets set by Swiggy Instamart.
• Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and assist with replenishment.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Assist with returns and exchanges according to store policies.
• Support the store manager with daily operations and reporting.
• Implement and participate in promotional activities and sales campaigns.
  
  

Requirements

• Completion of 10th Pass and above.
• Basic experience or knowledge in retail or counter sales is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
• Ability to understand customer needs and deliver exceptional service at Swiggy Instamart.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
