Role Description The Assistant Store Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position supports the Store Director in day-to-day operations, including supervising staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring that store visual merchandising reflects brand standards. The role involves actively engaging with customers, providing product guidance, and driving sales performance while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive store environment. The Assistant Store Director also assists with staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback to ensure consistent service quality. This role requires close collaboration with the leadership team to meet sales targets, optimize store processes, and uphold Dekobuddy Rugs’ commitment to craftsmanship and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Store Management skills, including overseeing daily operations and coordinating staff activities.
- Commerce and Sales skills to support revenue growth, manage transactions, and understand retail KPIs.
- Customer Service skills to provide personalized support, handle inquiries, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Training skills to coach team members, deliver product knowledge sessions, and support onboarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
- Experience in retail, home décor, or lifestyle brands is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a dynamic store environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
