Company Description
Zomoz is a Hyderabad-based QSR brand specializing in momos and Indo-Chinese cuisine, operating successfully for more than 6 years. The brand has grown to 80+ operational locations across 10 cities in India through multiple formats including malls, high street outlets, food courts, and cloud kitchens. Zomoz is focused on building one of the most scalable QSR brands in the country through strong operations, innovation, and a multi-format expansion model.
Role Description
The Sourcing Manager will own procurement operations for Zomoz, beginning with Hyderabad. The primary mandate is to build a comprehensive, structured understanding of the local supply chain — mapping manufacturers, distributors, and vendors across key F&B categories — and to deploy that intelligence to reduce RM costs, improve vendor reliability, and strengthen our operational foundation. This is an individual contributor role with direct reporting to the founding team.
- Supplier negotiation and onboarding - Lead commercial negotiations with prospective and existing suppliers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service-level commitments. Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new vendors and facilitate orderly transitions from incumbent suppliers.
- Procurement auditing and cost benchmarking - Review and analyse purchase invoices across all active SKUs. Benchmark prevailing prices against wholesale, distributor, and manufacturer-level channels. Identify and quantify instances of overpayment and present structured recommendations for cost reduction
- Price monitoring and category intelligence - Track price movements across all procurement categories on a regular basis. Proactively flag seasonal volatility, supply disruptions, and substitution opportunities. Provide timely recommendations to the operations team on channel shifts and cost-mitigation strategies
- Vendor identification and database development - Systematically identify and catalogue manufacturers, distributors, and local vendors across key categories including dry goods, proteins, dairy, fresh produce, packaging, frozen goods, and beverages.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of professional experience in F&B procurement, FMCG distribution, supply chain management, or a closely related field
- Proven ability to conduct direct supplier negotiations
- Ability to operate effectively in an unstructured, fast-moving environment with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain structured procurement records, track pricing data systematically, and present findings clearly
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
