Role Description The Assistant Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Raffles Udaipur in the Udaipur district. This role supports the Security Manager in overseeing day-to-day security operations across the resort, including guest areas, staff facilities, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities include monitoring physical security measures, coordinating security personnel, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with property security policies and local regulations. The role involves maintaining incident reports, supporting emergency response procedures, and collaborating with other departments to manage events and high-profile visits securely. The Assistant Security Manager also helps implement information and cybersecurity protocols, supports training for team members on safety and security practices, and contributes to continuous improvement of security standards in a luxury hospitality environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Physical Security and Security Management, including access control, surveillance systems, and incident response.
- Knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity principles relevant to protecting guest and organizational data.
- Understanding of Network Security practices, including secure use of hotel systems and coordination with IT teams.
- Experience in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large resort environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Proficiency in preparing reports, maintaining records, and following regulatory and brand standards.
- Relevant formal education in security management, criminology, hospitality, or related fields; professional security certifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.
