Role Description The incumbent will be based in Bangalore/Coimbatore, responsible for driving sales growth and market development within an assigned territory. This position involves managing and expanding relationships with dealers, distributors, key accounts, and end users, while actively prospecting for new business opportunities. The role includes conducting product presentations and demonstrations, providing training and support to channel partners, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the sales cycle. The incumbent will analyze territory performance, prepare sales forecasts and reports, monitor competitor activity, and collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and operations to meet revenue and profitability targets. Regular travel within the territory will be required to visit customers, attend industry events, and support initiatives that strengthen Welbilt’s market position.
Qualifications & Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a Large / reputed Indian company / US/ European Multinational in the B2B space selling Capital Equipments / High Value Consumer Durables.
- Relevant experience in equipment, Commercial Kitchen equipment, hospitality, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present technical product information clearly and build professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven Sales and Sales Management capabilities, with experience meeting or exceeding targets in a business-to-business environment.
- Experience in Training customers, distributors, or internal teams on product features, applications, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze territory data, prepare sales forecasts, and use CRM tools or similar platforms effectively.
