Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Sales Manager role based in Noida. The Assistant Sales Manager will support the development and execution of sales strategies to promote uTab Educational ERP solutions to preschools, schools, and institutes. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and managing follow-ups to close deals. The role will also involve maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, gathering feedback to inform product and sales improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The Assistant Sales Manager will track sales performance metrics, prepare periodic reports, and contribute to meeting or exceeding regional sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or education services.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at educational institutions.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships, manage pipelines, and follow structured sales processes and CRM workflows.
- Comfort with technology platforms, including ERP, CRM tools, and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand customer needs, translate them into solutions, and use data to drive sales decisions.
- High level of ownership, goal orientation, and willingness to travel within the region for client meetings and events as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent specialization in sales/marketing is an advantage.
- Prior experience selling to educational institutions or familiarity with school/college operations is highly desirable.
