Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Sales Manager based in Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon and Ahmedabad. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting sales initiatives, building relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with clients to understand their requirements, preparing proposals, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with the internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions. The role also includes market analysis, maintaining comprehensive customer records, and assisting in formulating effective sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Sales and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and effectively close deals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse customers and coordinate with internal teams.
- Analytical and organizational skills to conduct market analysis, evaluate business opportunities, and manage tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of scientific, electronic, or instrumentation equipment is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or instrumentation industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Electronic, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
