Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, with flexibility for some remote work. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets. Key responsibilities include preparing sales strategies, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. The Assistant Sales Manager will also focus on enhancing brand visibility and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills
- Market analysis, strategy formulation, and planning capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships
- Knowledge of the testing, inspection, and certification industry is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote activities
- Bachelor's degree in Science with Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in a sales or client-facing role, preferably in a technical or service-driven industry
