Role Description
Marriott International is seeking a full-time Assistant Sales Manager to join our team at the Siliguri location. In this on-site role, the Assistant Sales Manager will work closely with the sales team to support business growth and engagement strategies. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, assisting in the development of sales strategies, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role requires analyzing sales data, preparing accurate reports to track performance, and assisting in meeting the company’s revenue goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, client relationship management, and customer retention strategies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to foster partnerships and close deals.
- Proficiency in sales strategy development, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
- Competence in CRM tools, reporting tools, and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage but not required.
