Job Title: Assistant Manager – Institutional Sales (Home Furnishing)
Location: Mumbai
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Institutional Sales with experience in the home furnishing industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving B2B sales, managing key institutional clients, and expanding the company’s presence across corporate, hospitality, and real estate segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage institutional sales for home furnishing products (curtains, upholstery, bedding, etc.)
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities in corporate, hospitality, and real estate sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
- Handle end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, meetings, negotiations, and closures
- Prepare and present product proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, design) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
- Maintain accurate sales reports, MIS, and client database
Key Requirements:
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in institutional/B2B sales within the home furnishing industry
- Strong network with architects, interior designers, and institutional buyers preferred
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple clients/projects
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Education:
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
